The Scent Story

Black Rock Desert is a perfume portrait of the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, the place where Burning Man is held. Designed as an atmospheric perfume that transports you a remote and beautiful environment, Black Rock Desert opens with the herbal scent of sage, both leaves and flowers, mingled with the sweet vanilla-like fragrance of mesquite blossoms before giving way to the smoky, resinous notes of Texas Cedar and Mesquite Bark, grounding you firmly to the austere beauty of the desert.

To wear it is to walk among the sage brush and mesquite bushes, to feel the sun on your shoulders, all under the vast blue sky.

Each Burning Man event has a theme which inspires a profusion of fabulous art from its participants. I create a yearly “Burner Perfume” based on these themes. The first run of every Burner Perfume is given away at Burning Man as my artistic gift to the community.
