Bloom Together Note to Note: Music & Perfume, a Fresh, Unisex, Floral Inspired by my favorite, local, electronic music festival, Sonic Bloom

The Scent Story

Inspired by my favorite, local, electronic music festival, Sonic Bloom, my new scent—Bloom Together—captures the community spirit and vibrant beats in an exuberant, unisex scent. Held yearly (pandemics permitting) on the sprawling Humming Bird Ranch where Colorado’s Eastern Plains meet the Rocky Mountains, the four-day camping festival brings together both visual and musical artists (and one perfume artist) to create a concert experience in a beautiful, natural setting. Three stages, set among western trees and meadows, are the back drop for all the beats. There is even a little stream to cool your toes in. Flowering cactus and gnarly little oak and cedar trees grace the hills and hollows leading up to the majestic Spanish Peaks. Set among the oaks and cedars, visual artists paint their canvases while grooving to non-stop music. I set up my own scent-art installation, The Olfactorium, where I create custom perfumes for my fellow festival goers as a gift to this music-loving community.

Bloom Together perfume captures the happy, sonic vibes of the place and the performances. A Grapefruit top note accord is like sunshine on your face. The middle notes feature Wild Flower Pollen and Nectar—a nod to the ever-present humming birds that the ranch is named for. Green
Oak Leaves, Cedar, Sandalwood and a touch of Musk complete the composition.
